I'm sitting here typing this on the 2nd day of December 2017 and wondering where on earth the year went.
So much has happened for Tristan and I, the biggest of which has been starting By Bec Designs as a fully fledged business. It has been an amazing learning experience navigating setting up a company, getting insurance, trademarking, finding retailers, finding amazing jarware, making SO many candles, learning all about social media, setting up and running our website and meeting some of our customers and retailers in person - all which working full-time jobs.
One thing is sure, we have loved every minute of it and are so grateful to our friends, family, our amazing customers and our retailers who have shown us so much support, understanding, love, given encouragement and believed in us. These things have meant that we have been able to keep the fire in our belly even when things have not exactly gone according to plan.
Christmas is my favourite time of year because of the "spirit" of Christmas. It is a chance to reflect on what the year has brought, a chance to rest and recover and an opportunity to look forward to what the next year will bring. It also is a chance to spend time with our loved ones and create new memories.
So I hope that you will have a wonderful time leading up to Christmas and enjoy the time spent with those you love.
